It is with great enthusiasm and pride that we share the news that Sud-Fresh has been named Transporter of the Year 2024! During the 31st edition of this annual competition, Sud-Fresh impressed the jury and took over the title from Transport Verbeken of Dendermonde.
Although Sud-Fresh may not yet be well known to the general public, we are rapidly becoming a Belgian leader in the distribution of temperature-controlled food products. With our headquarters in Namur and a warehouse in Aubange, we operate on both a dedicated and multi-client basis, and we continue to grow.
The jury was particularly impressed by our outstanding management, our flexibility in responding to customer needs, and our strong vision for the future. We are proud of our plans to build a second logistics site next to our headquarters in the beautiful hills above Namur. This new location will house two wind turbines, which will generate enough electricity for our future electric trucks. This initiative is an important step in our efforts toward sustainability and innovation within the industry.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the other award winners. Macotruck, the second award winner, is at a turning point in its history, while Transport De Rudder, the third award winner, is continuing to build on its professionalization process.
