Sud-Fresh is a Belgian company with its own branches, from which we provide logistics services and transportation within a radius of approximately 400 km. We are proud of our local roots: all of our employees are on the local payroll.
Rhisnes Cross-Dock Facility (Namur)
Our cross-dock facility in Rhisnes, which has been in operation since 2019, is the beating heart of our groupage operations. In 8,000 m² of climate-controlled space with 15 docks, we handle more than 3,000 pallets every day. The site is located close to major transportation routes and is ideally situated to quickly serve Flanders and Wallonia. Solar panels on the roof and a water recovery system for our truck wash make the site sustainable.
Ambient Storage Namur
In the same industrial zone in Rhisnes, we have a second warehouse with 3,000 m² of dry (ambient) storage space. Here, we temporarily store raw materials, packaging materials, and other non-refrigerated goods, serving as a flexible buffer for our customers. Because the cross-dock is nearby, we can easily combine short- or long-term storage with deliveries and quickly respond to JIT requests from our customers’ production facilities.
Aubange
In 2023, we expanded our facility in Aubange to 18,000 m², providing space for 22,000 pallet positions: refrigerated areas, freezer areas down to -25 °C (stacked up to 6 pallets high), ambient storage, and a cross-dock zone. This is where our warehousing, order picking, and VAL operations take place. The roof is covered with solar panels, supplemented by battery storage and a water basin. Daily shuttle services to Rhisnes ensure a continuous flow, and from Aubange we also serve the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Barchon
From our Barchon location, we deploy more than ten trucks daily—including on weekends—for a single dedicated client. Because we’re located close to that client’s operations, we can respond more quickly, plan more flexibly, and guarantee the continuity of our services. With our own office and on-site parking, we handle planning, coordination, and follow-up directly, with short lines of communication. This allows us to grow alongside our customers, providing the flexibility and reliability they expect every day.
