Lean & Green is a European initiative that encourages companies in the transportation, logistics, and mobility sectors to reduce their carbon footprint by launching sustainable and innovative initiatives. Each star earned represents specific CO₂ reduction targets, validated by independent experts.
On November 28, 2024, the new awards were presented and the goals for the coming years were unveiled during the “Innovation Pitch” event organized by Logistics in Wallonia.
As a pioneer since 2019, when we earned our first Lean & Green star, Sud Fresh is proud to announce its goal of earning a second star. This new goal marks an important step in our mission to further reduce our CO₂ emissions.
To earn this second star, we’re once again taking a close look at our entire logistics and transportation operations and seeking out ways to make further improvements—for the environment, for ourselves, and for one another! To this end, we’re focusing first and foremost on optimizing logistics processes and using more sustainable fuels. Our goal is to work every day toward cleaner and more environmentally friendly logistics and transportation.
