“It is an honor for us to be recognized for the quality of our services, but it is also a real opportunity for our customers to reap the benefits of a high-quality European network specializing in the distribution of food products,” emphasizes Vincent Gaillard, CEO of Sud-Fresh.

Sud-Fresh is a leading Belgian logistics service provider specializing in the distribution and storage of temperature-controlled food products. For 14 years, it has been a trusted provider of logistics and transportation solutions in the Benelux and to Northern France. Sud-Fresh operates two logistics centers, in Aubange and Namur, where DACHSER can take advantage of the cross-docking platform. With a total fleet of 153 vehicles and a team of more than 300 employees, Sud-Fresh is a true asset to the European Food Network.

Markus Biemüller, Branch Manager of DACHSER Belgium Food Logistics, highlights the success of the partnership: “The launch of this partnership was a success. Sud-Fresh’s delivery performance and the quality of their data are exemplary, supported by advanced IT systems and modern infrastructure.”

This partnership is particularly symbolic because Sud-Fresh has worked with Müller Fresh Food Logistics for many years; Müller Fresh Food Logistics was acquired by DACHSER in 2023 and joined the European Food Network earlier this year. With this new partnership and strategic location in Namur, DACHSER aims to further strengthen its presence in the Belgian market and accelerate its growth by offering industry-leading export solutions for groupage with end-to-end visibility and proactive communication via the Active Report supply chain event management tool.

This mutually beneficial partnership creates new opportunities for both companies. For DACHSER Food Logistics, which has been operating in Belgium since April 2022, this means strengthening its presence in the Belgian market through a strategic location in Namur and access to Sud-Fresh’s state-of-the-art cross-dock facilities. Meanwhile, Sud-Fresh’s customers benefit from DACHSER’s robust European Food Network, which facilitates the export of their products.
